- Designed to dilute chemicals before they enter the cooling tower water basin.
- Prevents long term damaging effects to cooling tower basins and equipment if chemicals are not mixed properly
- Chemicals are typically twice as heavy as water, which cause acids to sink to bottom of cooling tower basins
- Agressive chemicals will attach the concrete, damaging the basin floor and causing the structural support within the basin to erode
Acid Dilution Trough
Water Treatment Equipment for diluting acids and other chemicals used in cooling towers
REQUEST MORE INFORMATIONHow it works
- The Chemical Dilution Trough mixes re-circulated and make up water to dilute chemicals.
- The chemical / water solution then travels across a series of PVC or CPVC baffles before entering the cooling tower basins
- Once in the cooling tower, the diluted solution rapidly disperses within the tower basin water
Benefits of an Acid Dilution System:
- Drastically reduces chemical damage to cooling tower basin
- Reduced downtime of tower for basin repair
- Simple design greatly improves reliability
- Provides precise chemical control
- Lowers chemical costs by controlling chemical feed rate
Applications:
- Sulphuric Acid
- Sodium Hypochlorite (Chlorine)
- Corrosion Inhibitor
- Cooling Tower Dispersant
