Accurately measuring and monitoring gas flow in a vacuum feed system has traditionally been difficult and costly. This remote gas flow meter provides a practical solution by combining visual indication with a 4–20 mA analog output for reliable remote monitoring.

The meter displays the gas feed rate locally while transmitting a proportional signal from zero to full scale. Because the output is generated from the actual position of the float within the calibrated glass tube, it represents the true gas flow rate. This approach delivers dependable measurement and monitoring without adding unnecessary complexity to the system.

How It Works: 

The Hydro Instruments remote meters with 4-20mA Output provide the benefit of remote monitoring. As gas flows through the meter, a float inside the tube rises or falls with the feed rate, providing smooth, reliable measurement.

A built-in magnetic sensor tracks the float’s position and converts it into a 4–20 mA signal, so gas feed can be monitored remotely—without electronics coming into contact with the chemical. The result is dependable performance with minimal maintenance.
